I will tell you I am not one to wear the latest on-trend piece, but some trends are worth taking a second look. Animal prints, from leopard, to snakeskin, to tiger print have been all the rage for the last few seasons. But the one animal print that has stood out to me more than others is zebra print. Zebra print is so versatile – it can be subdued when worn as a classic black and white colorway. But zebra print can actually add a lot of edge to your style when worn as bright and bold colors. And wearing zebra print is a great way to brighten up your look on a drab winter day, either for the office, into the evening, or as a casual weekend outfit. Wearing zebra print can be classy and chic when styled with thought, and today’s post is all about showing you zebra print pieces that will stand the test of time.
Walter Baker Zebra Print Skirt
As soon as I found this Walter Baker zebra print skirt, I knew I had to have it! The classic zebra print is striking, and the a-line style is flattering on any body type. I knew it would be perfect for the office, and since it is on major sale (under $35 currently from an original price of $168) the decision to buy was easy. I bought it in the fall so sizes are limited. Here I am wearing a size 2, which is still available. For other sizes I love this Walter Baker zebra print skirt that has a slight pattern variation. And this one by Sanctuary is also a really nice option.
I love that this skirt has pockets, and even belt loops! This outfit is instantly elevated by adding this Gucci pearl belt.
To keep the outfit classic and timeless, I am wearing the skirt with this CeCe ruffled crepe top. It was a warm day when I wore this outfit. During the winter you could style this skirt with a black oversized mock neck sweater and boots.
