Pink Sweater and Ripped Skinny Jeans

So glad that Friday is finally here! As much as I have to dress up for work I still like to dress more casually for the weekends. I’ve had this comfy pink pullover sweater from Anthropologie since last season and it has been sitting in my closet with the tags still on for the last several months. We’ve had some pretty dreary, cold, and wet weather at the start of the spring season so I decided to finally wear this pink sweater to cheer up myself. Pink has always been one of my favorite colors, and I love the cozy, relaxed style of this particular sweater, Before I go on about it too much, unfortunately this sweater is sold out but one can find so many similar sweaters as pink sweaters never go out of style. Today’s look is a more simple look as I paired this sweater with a pair of ripped skinny jeans and neutral heels.

To add flair to the outfit I am wearing a silk scarf from Ann Taylor. My daughter actually suggested I wear the scarf with this outfit, and she is totally right! To keep the look casual I am carrying the Madewell mini transport tote. This is a great little bag that is relatively inexpensive and can carry so many things. Overall the outfit is just a cute way to dress for spring when the weather isn’t quite warm enough yet.
