Greetings from Draper James Nashville!
Well, I’m not really in Nashville at the moment, but we had the chance to visit there back in September. I’ve been so busy that I just finally got around to posting some images from the trip. Nashville is such a fun city and there are so many unique places to visit while there. Wee stopped there on our way down to the Florida panhandle, and while there we got to eat great food and see at least a few of the sights in this iconic city. While in Nashville I made a point to visit the flagship Draper James store, as some of my most favorite dresses are from there. If you aren’t familiar, Draper James is Reece Witherspoon’s southern-inspired boutique. I’ve always loved how her clothing reflects charm and grace of the American South. The pieces have a timeless, yet contemporary look about them. And all the pieces are just so adorable!
If you get a chance to visit the boutique, I highly recommend doing so! Visiting there is an experience in itself. Reece and her team thinks of every little detail when it comes to the store. They even offer you sweet tea when you visit! Everything in the store is put together with thought, right down to the blue and white ribbon price tags. And you cannot miss the distinctive mural on the side of the store! Visiting Draper James is truly an experience. And the area around it is full of great restaurants and boutique-style shops so it would be a great place to visit during lunchtime if you happen to visit Nashville.
Draper James Floral A-Line Ponte Dress
I have to admit, that I bought this floral A-line dress just for visiting the store. I love everything about this dress! The A-line style really looks great on any body type. This dress is definitely petite-friendly. I am wearing an XS and this dress fits perfectly. I was wearing it during the summer months, but during the fall you could style it with this Draper James field jacket. When I saw it styled this way in the window there and I thought the combination of blue and green looked really nice!
Other Favorite Draper James Dresses
Draper James is always on point when it comes to their dresses! If you are looking for a dress for the holidays, this plaid sweater dress would be perfect. And I love this short sleeve plaid tie waist dress for a Christmas party. I have the older version of this floral smocked sleeve dress (see it here) and it is great for work or a lunch date. And this embroidered tulle dress is nothing short of stunning!
Draper Jame Gift Ideas
With the holidays approaching, it can be hard to think of a great gift for everyone on your list. Draper James definitely has some unique gifts that I think are thoughtful and charming at the same time. My daughters would love these cozy pajama pants with this sweatshirt. If you are looking for a great coffee table book, then I highly recommend Reece Witherspoon’s book Whiskey in a Teacup. This reversible tote is practical in that it is really two totes in one!
