Hey everyone! So happy Friday is here and I am looking forward to a “somewhat” relaxing weekend. We are headed to a tea party at one of the local businesses tonight, and that should be fun. I wanted to share with you one of the office looks I wore during the week. During the winter so often I gravitate toward dark colored pants, leggings and dresses. But now that the end of February is here, I feel inspired to change things up a bit with more pastel colors. The problem is, that it is still below freezing and there is lots of snow on the ground. So I am looking for pastel colors that still provide warmth. So continue reading for inspiration for how to do this!

Wear a Pink Wool Coat
In the winter, my go-to coats and jackets are mostly camel, black, and gray. They just work with most outfits. But sometimes it is just nice to wear a pretty pink coat to put you in a spring mood. I found this stylish belted pink wool coat at Mango. Fortunately it is sold out but this one from ASOS is very similar. I also like this more structured pink wool coat that is also from Mango. And when the temperatures do finally warm up a bit then this pink trench coat I recently received from Talbots is just gorgeous!

Wear a Pastel Sweater
Pink always looks so nice with other pastel colors. And I think the most complementary color is actually grey. I love, love, love this grey cable knit sweater from Ann Taylor. This sweater is definitely warm, and I like that it has more structure and is more form-fitting than your typical cable knit sweater (and it is 40% off now too!). Mix thinks up with both pink and gray with this striped sweater also from Ann Taylor. I also love this marled tie back sweater in grey and pink from Loft. Other nice options include this grey mock neck sweater from J. Crew. And I just bought this super soft turtleneck sweater that comes in many pastel colors too!

Don’t Be Afraid to Wear White
As I have said many times before, don’t be afraid to wear white in the winter. I think the “white after labor day” belief is outdated. As long as you wear temperature-appropriate clothing, white is beautiful and stylish in the winter. I have worn these petite-friendly slim white stretch ankle pants many times (see this post). They are some of my most-worn pants in my closet, and I love them because they will work year-round.
As always, thanks for stopping by!
