These Foster Pants are made of a thick Italian-cotton blend that is structured yet has just the right amount of stretch. These pants look fantastic, yet they are just as comfortable as your favorite leggings. They are machine washable and definitely packable. And I have said before, what I love most about them they even have a concealed button in the hem, which is perfect for a petite woman like myself. It was such a pleasant surprise to discover the button, after I thought for sure I’d have to have them hemmed. I am wearing my typical size 2 here and they fit perfectly.

M.M.LaFleur Moreland Jacket

If there is one workwear essential you need in your closet, it is a classic black blazer. I can tell you I have been on so many job interviews in my career as a physician, and I’ve never been turned down for a job. But in each interview I definitely dressed for the part.  It is so important to present the best version of yourself. and be confident in the interview. Look them in the eye, stand tall, and give a firm handshake. When I interview applicants myself the first thing I am assessing is whether or not they dress appropriately. The proper attire makes all the difference in the world! And this travel-friendly Moreland jacket is just what you need for the big day. Much like the Foster pants, the Oshima pants are made from a thick yet super-stretchy Italian blend that won’t wrinkle or sag. They are perfect for everyday wear, yet they are tailored enough to wear with a blazer when you need a more formal look. I am wearing the color “Monsoon” which is an earthy grey-green color. They also come in black and navy. These pants are petite-friendly (they did not require hemming on me) and I like the flared hem at the ankle.  And I love that they require no ironing!

As I mentioned, I work in a male-dominated field, which means I will often walk in to a room full of suits. However as a woman, wearing a suit isn’t always practical.
