Draper James Scallop Sweater Dress

One of my favorite new clothing lines is Draper James. Designed by Reece Witherspoon, this clothing brand reflects the charm and grace of the American South. The pieces have a timeless, yet contemporary look about them. I have always loved the classic color navy, and when I saw this adorable Draper James Scallop Sweater Dress, I knew I had to have it!

I love everything about this dress! The A-line style really looks great on any body type. This dress is definitely petite-friendly. I am wearing an XS and this dress fits perfectly. The scalloped detailing is just so charming and the vertical stripes serve the function of making me look taller than I really am. This dress is almost sold-out unfortunately, so unless you wear an XL this dress may not work for you. That being said, there is a good chance it will be coming back, as it sold out in the spring and was brought back for the fall.

This dress speaks for itself. To keep the look classic I am wearing my comfortable and chic Stuart Weitzman Peekamid pumps. A white bag complements the white piping in the dress. I received so many complements when I wore this to work. This dress could be worn for so many occasions though, and would really carry you from day into the night.

Other Draper James Favorites

There are so many other dresses and tops that have caught my eye at Draper James. One of my favorites is the Fleurette Sweater Dress. I love the floral appliqué design at the yoke of the dress. The classic navy color will never go out of style. If you read my blog at all you know about my lace obsession, and this Lace Rosslyn Dress is no exception. The geometric design of the Floral Lattice Celia Dress makes this such a statement piece! Expect to see the skirt version in an upcoming post. I absolutely love the simple sophistication of the houndstooth patterned Windowpane Anderson Cape and it would just look so chic for fall! Finally these Sailor Cropped Pants are such a fresh take on slacks. I am just so impressed with the quality of Draper James clothing, and I would love to have each of these pieces in my closet!
