Why hello there! For those of you who read this blog regularly, sorry I was MIA over the last week. My husband was out of town with the girls, and I spent the week working and taking care of my boys. At the end of the day I just didn’t have any energy left and I got some much needed rest. Of course, the cold weather didn’t help things either. I spent Saturday digging my driveway out from a snowstorm just in time to take my boys to swimming lessons (and thankfully we made it!). With such a busy schedule, sometimes I don’t even have the time to breathe! Not to mention during the winter it can sometimes get downright depressing waking up to snow and clouds every day. One way I cheer myself up is by putting on a pretty dress, just to feel more feminine. So today’s post is all about showing you affordable dresses that you can wear now, right into the springtime…

When you put on a floral dress, you can’t help but to feel in a better mood. Floral dresses aren’t just for spring and summer. A darker floral dress worn with boots and a sweater can be a great way to add color and pattern to your winter outfits. And this dress I am wearing by Bobeau is no exception! The pretty combination of blue, pink and purple definitely caught my eye when it comes to this dress. The A-line style with ruched sleeves really give this dress a feminine touch. And the fabric is really nice quality too. This dress is petite-friendly and is well priced at under $27. I am wearing the XS here and it fits well. People will see you wearing it and will think you paid a lot more money for it!
During the colder months you could easily wear this dress with a cardigan and boots. I wore it on a warmer day, so I styled it with this belt and navy block heel sandals. All together this is a great look for the office, and into the evening!
