Can I tell you how happy I will be when skinny jeans finally go out of style? For years I wore boot cut jeans and pants, as they were the best pants I found that gave me the appearance of longer legs. So when skinny jeans came into vogue, I was the last person to embrace the trend. While I have lots of skinny jeans in my closet, I will never want to completely ditch my wide leg pants and jeans. Thankfully wide-leg pants are making a comeback, and there are lots of new styles available! Wide-leg pants really are timeless, as you could probably find a pair in your mom’s closet too. 

Wide Leg Pants Will Make You Look Taller

Let’s admit it, skinny jeans are not for everyone. Especially if you are petite, skinny jeans can make your legs look shorter than they really are.  Wide-leg pants have the benefit of making you look taller, and they can also accentuate your curvier aspects. If you are going to wear wide leg pants, I do suggest wearing a high-waisted pair, as the higher waist will showcase your curves and make your legs look longer. Also, find a crop pair that falls just at or below your ankles, so that you can see the skinniest part of your legs.  Especially if you are petite, I also recommend wearing heels or platform shoes with your wide-leg pants to further lengthen your legs.

Skinny jeans can accentuate the curves you wish weren’t there. And if you try to put on your skinny jeans after eating a fabulous feast, they aren’t the most forgiving.
