The Best of Amazon Essentials

I haven’t done a fashion post in almost a month, so I know it’s about time that I do one. This COVID-19 epidemic has certainly disrupted our family’s schedule, and that has made blogging somewhat difficult. Not to mention, the weather has been less than desirable. April has been one of the coldest months on record here. Just last week we had so much snow that we would’ve had to have shoveled had not warmed up just a bit the next day. But finally the weather has changed for the better, and I was able to go out and take a new outfit photo this week. With shopping pretty much limited to the online experience, I thought I would do another post today about my favorites on Amazon. I get asked all the time what are some of the best brands to shop on Amazon. Today I thought I would talk about Amazon Essentials. This is one of my favorite brands on Amazon, as the quality is outstanding, the pieces are very wearable, and the prices are affordable! And now Amazon has changed what they are offering to reflect the spring weather, so I thought today I would feature my favorites! Amazon Essentials is not just for women’s clothing but they have a large selection of clothing for men, babies and kids as well!

 

Amazon Essentials Crewneck Sweater

Even though it’s almost May, it is still sweater weather around here. So when I saw this colorful striped crewneck sweater on Amazon, I knew I had to have it for spring! The sweater is a great basic to have year round, and it comes in a wide array of colors and patterns. It is lightweight so it works great on its own and warmer temperatures, but it also makes a great foundation piece for layering. With over 2000 5 star reviews, this is one of the best reviewed sweaters on Amazon. The quality I would see is similar to what you would find at J.Crew factory, but at a fraction of the price. Even though the sweater comes in so many patterns and colors, this rainbow striped version stands out the most to me. The bright colors are perfect for spring. The fit is great and this is true to size. I am wearing my typical extra small and it fits perfectly. The sweater is made of a cotton/modal/polyester blend and is very comfortable to wear.

 

The jeans I am wearing here are actually by Madewell. After wearing the same pair of white denim jeans since I started this blog I decided to get a new pair this year. I love these jeans, but if you’re looking for a more affordable version, Amazon Essentials also makes a nice version of white denim jeans. The Amazon Essentials jeans  not only come in white, but also on a wide variety of colors. They are also petite friendly as well. Since they are priced under $30 you could have them in lots of colors!

Ragemall Waterproof Rain Jacket

We’ve had lots of rain this month, so I decided to pick up this classic rain jacket on Amazon this month. It is not by Amazon essentials, but it is equally as nice. It’s a nice lightweight jacket to wear in 60° weather.  I decided to get the grey version because it goes with so many different outfits. And I love the contrasting stripe design for the lining. This has become my to go to jacket for the spring!

Amazon Essentials Spring Favorites

The Amazon Essentials brand has so many great basic items that you will wear day after day, including socks, underwear and everything in between.. Especially when living under a stay at home order you want to just stick to the basics. If you’re spending lots of time lounging around the house, these joggers are perfect. And this pullover is my favorite one to wear on a chilly day. For workouts or running around town doing errands, I love wearing this soft and stretchy pull over. I love it so much that I bought it in three colors! And these pajamas are perfect to wear for spring and summer! See below for all of my recommendations for the best of Amazon essentials!
