Lull Mattress Review
When it comes to getting a good night’s sleep, no ordinary mattress will do. After years of sleeping on innerspring mattresses, we decided to make the switch for our entire family to memory foam mattresses. And after sleeping on many different brands, I can tell you not all memory foam mattresses are created equal. After reading so many positive reviews about the Lull mattress, I was thrilled to have the opportunity to work with the company! We decided to get one first for our sons (see this Instagram post). Because we have loved it so much, we decided to get one for our daughter as well!
The Mattress Made with Everyone in Mind
The Lull mattress is what I think the best one-size-fits-all mattress you can find. Lull has designed their mattress to provide the perfect blend of comfort and support. This mattress works even if you are a back, stomach, or side sleeper. And it will provide wonderful pressure relief and motion isolation, so if you sleep with a partner, you won’t be disturbed. The Lull mattress is about a 6.5 on a scale of 1-10 in terms of firmness. Which is why it works no matter which way you sleep.
Lull Three Layer Technology
The Lull Mattress is no ordinary memory foam mattress. Rather than one single layer, this mattress is comprised of three different layers of high-quality memory foam, all with a unique purpose:
- The top layer is made of 1.5″ gel-infused memory foam, which cools and distributes body heat (minimizing the heat retention issue of memory foam mattresses). This layer also provides lots of support for pressure points.
- The second layer is a 1.5″ foam blend transition layer. This is a firmer foam, which allows this mattress to offer support and motion distribution, without the dreaded sinking sensation.
- The third layer is a 7” polyurethane foam foundation that offers durability, added support, and prevents sagging.
So the Lull Mattress is 10 inches in total, which means it works well with just about any bed frame. You can use it on a platform bed, or with a box spring (as we have done).
The Lull mattress has a removable fabric cover made of polyester and rayon that is also breathable and cool to the touch.

Lull Delivery and Setup
Delivery and setup of the Lull mattress couldn’t be easier! The mattress ships free compressed inside a very distinctive box (who can forget a lion in a suit with sunglasses?). Setting it up is easy too! It is a matter of s getting it out of the box and the plastic cover, then unrolling it and placing it on the bed you are using. As nice as the Lull mattress is, you want to keep it nice. The Lull mattress protector provides coverage from allergens, spills, and stains. And it is waterproof too. The Lull mattress protector keeps liquids from reaching your mattress using a 100% waterproof barrier. And I love that it is quiet and breathable as it is made same soft, cool fabrics as the Lull mattress cover.
Lull Pillows
